I had my lazer treatment in February this year. From the first conversation I had with Elaine when I phoned to enquire about it, the pre treatment consultations, having the treatment and the aftercare it’s been 5 star all the way.
Everything is explained so you understand your options, there’s no pressure to decide and you can talk it over as much as you need before booking in.
I opted for mono vision and had a contact lenses trail to help me make my final decision.
Once I had I booked in for the procedure, I couldn’t have been in better hands, I was talked through and reassured throughout by Julie, Zoe and of course in the safe hands of Nr Mathai!
The procedure was painless and done in no time at all, it stings a little after but in a few hours I was enjoying my new glasses free vision!
The aftercare is great, I’ve been so happy with it.

Surgery by Mr Mathai quite transformative. Excellent standard of care from Visualase. Highly recommend them. Good organisation with helpful follow up appointments. Also I received excellent care from the nurses on treatment day.
I was so nervous beforehand that I nearly talked myself out of it! My vision is so much sharper today. The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was reach for my glasses. I put them on and remembered that I didn’t need them anymore; it made me realise how bad my eyesight used to be. It is amazing. My advice to anyone thinking of having laser eye surgery is, do not talk yourself out of it!

Debating whether or not to get my eyes lasered for me personally was quite daunting. However, after doing my research and visiting different clinics, I knew as soon as I arrived at Visualase for a consultation that this is where I wanted to have the procedure done. Elaine and Zoe on reception are extremely helpful and no amount of questions is too much for them! It must be said too that the surgeon Mr Mathai is outstanding and makes you feel extremely calm and well informed throughout. From start to finish my customer experience was exceptional. I would 110% recommend and the results that I have since experienced is life changing. I heard that a successful surgery outcome is when you forget that you ever wore glasses and that is exactly the case for me!
My experience with Visualase from start to finish was nothing short of exceptional and I can’t recommend them enough. The most important aspect was to have vision that enabled me to see clearer without aid but not necessarily full correction. Christopher Clough was the reason for considering treatment and the results which could potentially be achieved.
Chris referred me to Visualase and initially it was considered I was not suitable. With his persistence and belief of what could be achieved it was agreed that the treatment could happen but an under correction in my left eye was likely. The results have been amazing and life changing and far better then what was anticipated. I am absolutely delighted.
